We, at Knot Just Yarn, have decided the socially responsible (and fun!) thing do was to take our CAL and new KAL’s online, calling them QAL’s (Quarantine A-Long). Whether you are mandatorily quarantined or not, this should be fun! Did I mention prizes yet?! No?! Well, yes, there will be prizes – one for each QAL!
When you post a finished picture of your QAL with yarn from Knot Just Yarn to the blog, you will be entered into a drawing for two skeins of fingering weight new, spring yarns! There will be four drawings – one for each QAL pattern! You may enter in more than one pattern category. You have until May 17, 2020 midnight MST to get your finished project posted on the blog page for that pattern.
Do not start the QAL’s until March 30, 2020. Post pictures on the blog page for your QAL of you starting.
I am excited about this! I hope you are, too! If nothing else, it gives me a reason to knit/crochet alongside you and posts pictures and updates. You get to post your starting picture, updates, questions, finished QAL’s, and just create a “staying at home” community.
Just FYI: I am a little intimidated by the Edlothia that I am supposed to be crocheting. If nothing else, my progress will be surpassed by other, more advanced crocheters. Stay tuned….
