Crochet Class: The Kraken Shawl

This is the class for the Kraken Shawl by Alex Mikkelborg. Using a wool-blend DK weight yarn, the shawl works up fairly quick, and it is super lightweight and still very cozy to wear. It’s perfect for any outing: wear it as a wrap for a formal event or wear it wrapped up as a triangle scarf for something more casual!

This class is in US crochet terms. You will need to know the basic crochet stitches (specifically chain stitch and double crochet). Instructions on how to do the filet crochet technique are focused on in this class, along with increases and decreases.
